LOFT Group of Japan Visits Kunchi

The headquarters of the Kunchi Group were filled with excitement on April 15, when Japan’s retail lifestyle giant, the LOFT Group, struck a cooperative agreement with the Chinese brand agency that will usher in a new era of collaboration between the companies on multiple fronts.

Antou Kiminori, president of LOFT, along with the company’s executive director, Hashimoto Keiji and manager of the commodity division, Watano Yoshiki, met with Mr. Li, Kunchi’s president, and several representatives of Kunchi Japan for this historic event.

The cooperative agreement between LOFT Group and Kunchi Group couldn’t be more timely!

LOFT’s profile in Japan is iconic. What began as a retail grocery chain has grown to nearly 120 physical stores, with annual sales averaging in the billions of RMB. LOFT, today, is associated with a huge and wildly creative array of novel lifestyle amenities from stationery to cosmetics and personal care, furnishings, tableware, and fine foods and delicacies.

Mr. Li played host to LOFT’s senior executive team, introducing and explaining Kunchi’s distribution and high-level service capabilities in detail. The tone he set that day was one of easygoing communication on both sides, laying the foundation for future comprehensive cooperation between the two enterprises.
